Multifaith Works AIDS CareTeams offer friendship and practical support to individuals and households living with AIDS. Foundation (PCAF) currently offers four
support groups for people affected by HIV/AIDS. The Gay & Bisexual
Men’s Support Group meets the first and third Thursdays. The
Heterosexual Support Group meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each
month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Latino/ Hispanic Support Group meets on
Saturdays. The Women’s Support Group
meets on the first and third Wednesdays. A
workshop, HIV in the New Millennium is offered on the third Thursday of
each month. PCAF is located in Tacoma at

Rise n’ Shine
provides emotional support to children and teens affected by HIV/AIDS.
Call 206-628-8949. Sacred Heart AIDS Ministry
sponsors a Healing Mass for HIV/AIDS and
other needs. Held on the fourth Monday of
each month at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred
Heart Church in Bellevue, 9460 NE 14th Street. Call

Service.
For all people affected by AIDS. Fourth
Monday of each month, 7:00 p.m. Reception

Dunshee House
(formerly Seattle AIDS Support Group or SASG),
is located at 303 17th Avenue East, has
support groups for people living with HIV/AIDS, caregivers, partners, families
and friends. Support groups are also held for
individuals who are gay/ lesbian/ bisexual/ transgendered. Please call 206-322-2437. Shanti
volunteers
provide free, confidential, one-to-one emotional support for people affected by
HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. To receive services or to become
a volunteer, call 206-324-1520 x3 or email
shanti@multifaith.org. Stevens Hospital has open
and ongoing bereavement support groups, a
safe supportive place for people experiencing loss of all kinds.
Held at 21601 76th Ave West, Edmonds, in the Kruger Quiet Room, 3rd Floor
Lobby near the west entrance. Meets
on Tuesdays from 3-4:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
