Healing Waters
Healing Waters is
an exciting outing for clients. Hosted this summer by the CareTeam Program, the
kayaking adventure provided an opportunity to sha re
a unique experience while having a boat load of fun. Based out of San Francisco,
Healing Waters strives to provide a memorable experience that is both
challenging and healing. The consensus from attendees is that the trip was
priceless. If you are interested in participating in future trips, please

Pride 2006
On an unusually hot summer day in Seattle, Multifaith
Works marched in the annual Gay Pride Parade on June 25th. For the first time in
over quarter century, the parade was held downtown, with thousands of parade
participants filling Fourth Avenue and spilling into the gaily decorated Seattle
Center. Passing out Multifaith Works stickers and festive party beads, the group
of Multifaith Works staff and volunteers had a blast.

Annual Picnic
What a success! We always look forward to our summer
picnic, which seems to get better each year. On July 17th over 200 Care Partners
and clients, volunteers, staff and friends gathered at Hillman House for an
afternoon of camaraderie, conversation, soulful music, and an amazing variety of
delicious food, most of it prepared by Multifaith Works volunteers. This year’s
event featured music from the Seattle Central Community College Jazz Orchestra.
